What to Expect

Once you have called and requested a Free Estimate our Owner Steve Baker or our Sales Representative Joseph Mason will come to your home and discuss the various options you have regarding the products you are inquiring about.

 You will receive an estimate at that visit showing the cost of the products you have requested, installation charges and permitting fee’s applicable within your county or city.

When you have made your decision we will have you sign a NOC – Notice of Commencement, this advises the county in which you live that you will be installing new Windows or Doors in your home. This is a requirement when doing any work that totals more than $2500.00 and is good for 1 year after the registration date.

 We will order your requested products and advise you of the vendors’ estimated shipping date. At that time we will schedule an approximate installation date that is convenient for you. When your order comes in we will call to confirm with you the time that our installers will arrive at your home.

There is very little “prep” work required by homeowners before installing your Windows and Doors. Our installers will move any furniture in front of the windows as well as window treatments. If you have valuable figurines we do ask that you remove those personally for safe keeping!

Our office will secure the proper Permits and post them the day installation begins and it must stay in an area that can be viewed at all times. Once your work is has been completed we will schedule the Inspection for a date that is convenient for you. Someone will need to be available to let the Inspector into your home. Please note the following Inspection times available with most Counties and Cities:

7:30 am to 12:00 pm OR 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm

If you purchased Windows or Doors that meet the Energy Rebate Requirements we will supply you with a copy of the 1) order from the vendor 2) your paid invoice from Advanced Window Concepts and 3) the Manufacturers Certification Statement. This will supply you with everything needed to apply for the applicable rebate of your purchase.
